I moved to Thousand Oaks from Buffalo, New York in 1967 and have lived in the Conejo Valley for over 50 years. After I graduated from high school, I began working construction and joined the Laborers Union working for Irish Construction. And only after two short years they offered me an internship to become a Heavy Equipment Operator and at that point, I was asked to join the Operating Engineers Union in 1985.
After many years, the construction boom slowed down so I decided to start creating my life. I did various jobs in my 20s and 30s trying to figure out what I wanted to do. Then in 2005, I decided to start my own medical device company, and ever since then, I’ve been a successful small business owner for 17 years now, managing hundreds of employees, handling all the financials, and writing every single paycheck myself. I started from nothing, have worked hard, and love living the American Dream!
I decided after seeing so much exploitation and unscrupulousness in business I wanted to do my part in making this state a better representation of what business and livelihood should be in our great state of California!
I’ve seen more homelessness and crime in our local communities. Our children are not being educated properly. Drug addiction is running rampant and things are only getting worse! It’s time we all move together in a better direction.
A new vision and ACTION for our community and state is what’s necessary this time in history. I want to unite all voters… American voters who feel living the California dream IS POSSIBLE for all who live in this great state!
God bless you and our Great State!
